- A professional shellac-based solution for sealing knots and resinous areas of bare timber prior to the application of paints, waxes or polishes.
- Apply 1-2 coats and allow to dry between coats.
- When the area to be treated is to be over-coated with a water-based product, apply the patent knotting more sparingly and lightly abrade the surface to provide a key before over-coating.
